Join
us for the opening reception, Sat. May 19, 2-5 pm. All are welcome.
Oakville was designated as a town in 1857 and so this year we
celebrate the 150th birthday of our favourite place to live, work
and play.
At
Abbozzo Gallery, we are truly fortunate to be located in the heart
of Downtown Oakville – a wonderful area to shop, dine and stroll –
and visit art galleries! This year, in keeping with the 150th
birthday celebrations, we asked our artists to create scenes of
Oakville and we have an amazing group of works to present to you.
The
Downtown Oakville Business Improvement Area staff and volunteers
work hard to keep this area vibrant and interesting. After all the
150th birthday parties are over, there are still lots of events that
the BIA has planned to bring you Downtown, so we hope you’ll come
back for the Sidewalk Sale, Midnight Madness and the Downtown
Oakville Jazz Festival to name just a few. To be notified of all the
events in Downtown Oakville and at Abbozzo Gallery, just sign up for
our brief, weekly e-mail updates.
