We had two great artist visits over the past two weekends. Sculptor George Shadford joined us on Feb. 6 and Janice Mason Steeves was in the gallery last Saturday. Both have work on display in our 'Flowers that Last' show - on until Feb. 21.

Start your New Year off with a visit to see our current exhibitions. In The Project Room, we have an exhibition of selected works by renowned print maker Naoko Matsubara and in the main gallery we are featuring a range of works by our gallery artists.

This Thursday, Dec. 17 is Ladies' Night again in Downtown Oakville and the gallery will be open until 9 pm. We've noticed that a lot of men are just starting to shop for Christmas (!) so to help them along, we'll provide the ladies with a gift registry. Let us know which beautiful work of art you would like and we'll do our best to make sure he knows what you want. We'll even gift wrap it for him and provide the tag!
To make your holiday shopping easier, the gallery will also be open Friday night until 9 pm, next Monday and Tuesday until 8 pm and next Wednesday night until 9 pm.
There's a new event in Downtown Oakville! Tonight is the first 'Ladies' Night' organized by the Downtown Oakville BIA and there are lots of things going on at restaurants and stores. Click

Hard to believe but the Christmas Season is upon us. We're hard at work this week installing a fabulous group exhibition. Paintings, original prints, sculpture, etc etc.

What a great group we had for Heather's artist talk! Heather is a good speaker and we think everyone enjoyed the information she gave them. She spoke about each painting in the show; explaining the circumstances that led her to choose the image and what she was attempting to convey when she created the painting. In fact, we were so busy listening that we forgot to take pictures!

The gallery was jam packed last Friday night for the opening of Heather Horton's new exhibition. She'll be back on Sat. Nov. 14 from 2-4 pm to chat informally about her work.
